Jessica Silverman

Jessica Silverman is a certified Change Coach, parenting coach, Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and early intervention speech-language pathologist. She takes great pleasure in serving the needs of others, helping them make the changes they desire and pointing them to their innate wisdom, peace, creativity, and resilience.

Her desire to become a coach came out of her own challenges as a human and a parent and the struggles that she often witnesses in individuals and families. Her personal life journey continues to teach her so much as she makes mis-takes and deepens her grounding in how all humans work and how change really happens. Life can feel like a rollercoaster of emotions. She has personally experienced feelings of indescribable joy, pride, and excitement as well as frustration, anger, and fear. Jessica believes that whether you wish for better behaviors, more happiness, less stress and worry or stronger family connections, having support can make achieving those goals so much easier and faster.

Jessica founded Parenting with Clarity, a heart-centered business designed to help parents experience greater ease and positive lasting changes in their family.

In June of 2020, she completed a 6-month Change Coach Training Program with Dr. Amy Johnson. It wasn’t focused on parenting like other trainings she had participated in but rather a new paradigm that can help people get freedom from unsupportive habits, including anxiety, anger, excessive worry, or any place people feel stuck. At the end of the training, Amy invited her to be a moderator/coach in her online school, The Little School of Big Change. She considers supporting the people in this incredible community an honor and a privilege. In April of 2022, she completed a 4-month mentoring program for practitioners with Erika Bugbee called “Working with Teens.” While she does specialize in working with parents, she is also passionate about working with teens, young adults, or anyone who is struggling and wants freedom from overwhelm, stress, and/or anxiety.

As a lifelong learner, it’s not unusual to find Jessica taking courses, reading books and listening to podcasts but her greatest teachers of all are her two amazing children. She lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, two teenagers and one fur baby.  She enjoys taking walks, playing board games, getting absorbed in a good TV show or book, eating good food, attending musical theater, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Hang out with her and you’ll likely hear her sing randomly and laugh loudly. “Laugh as much as you breathe. Love as long as you live.” – Rumi

Judi Johnson

Judi Johnson M.Ed., Parenting Coach and Senior Executive Function Coach at Effective Effort Consulting, loves empowering kids, their parents, and adults through the teaching of executive function skills.  She started out as a teacher but realized that her favorite lessons were the ones that helped kids with their life skills: seeing the big picture, breaking tasks down into manageable parts, and finding the intrinsic motivation to reach their goals. So, she changed her focus from teaching individual subjects to teaching individuals to realize their true potential.

In addition to private coaching sessions, she has enjoyed teaching adult executive function classes like “Life a Little Easier”, and workshops like “Parenting with the Brain in Mind” based on the work of Dan Siegel M.D., and Tina Payne Bryson, PH.D, and weekly groups like “Parenting a Little Easier”.

Judi earned a B.A. in Psychology at The University of Rutgers; an M.Ed. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at The Graduate School of Education, Rutgers University, and completed a graduate course “Executive Function Skills in the School & Classroom for Regular and Special Educators at All Grade Levels” at Endicott College.  She also has certifications in “Stress Reduction, Relaxation and Mediation.” She has enjoyed applying the rich content to her sessions from the following classes: Motivational Interviewing, Brainstorm Intensive: A Practical Understanding for Keeping the Adolescent Brain in Mind by Daniel Siegel, M.D., and Masterclass: Help Your Perfectionist Child Turn Anxiety into Confidence lead by Tina Payne Bryson.

She loves talking about all things executive function and parenting and has been featured on Better Together with Maria Menounos and the Ultimate Family Connection Summit with Marcy Amaro.
